Favorite book! Why I loved this book so much? I loved the characters. It was written in alternate POVs, I loved that we could read both of their thoughts.Claire had a hard life, she went through a lot. She became a member of the Knight house/family. Chris became her friend, later they started to feel more, they fell in love. This relationship was forbidden, they didn’t want the social worker to know about them, they were afraid that Claire have to move because of their relationship. I loved that their feelings and relationship developed slowly.
Chris loved Claire as much as she loved him. He was an amazing guy, a hot musician(with peercings,tattoos and mohawk), every girl wanted him, but he wanted Claire. He had problems like every teenager boy had. I felt that he was real. He did everything for Claire, he wanted her to be happy. His biggest dream to become a famous musician. He wrote a lot of songs, some songs for Claire, about Claire. And I loved this. <3
He was so patient with Claire, and because of this I fell in love with him! <3
The story was full of emotions, the characters were well-written. I loved the story. 5*

It looks like this is a series where you'll have to keep buying books to find out whether the hero and heroine end up together, which I find highly annoying.
And this book isn't that great. It was okay - I was willing to give it a chance, but it's all dark and depressing and the hero is particularly vulgar and foul-mouthed, which made me stop reading a few chapters in. Not for me.
I loved the Shattered Hearts series and this prequel makes me want to reread those 3 books all over again.
It was really great to get the backstory, the details of how and when Chris and Claire met, before only getting snippets here and there in the trilogy. Seeing how they fell in love. The deep feelings they had for each other early on. Sharing music and stargazing and stolen kisses, this book was a real treat.
This prequel gave that closure to a series I loved and I am happy to say this well written book is a must read.
Wow. There is no depth to this book at all. Love at first sight... sure. I feel like there is so substance to their relationship. The glimpses of their relationship are so superficial, either a fight or sex. Not impressed.
Have you ever read a book/series that just touched you so much that it stayed on your mind? Well, that's what Trisha Leigh has done to me! Forever Ours brought me back to all the feelings I had reading the Shattered Hearts series. You get to see the blooming of Chris and Claire's relationship. I cried like a baby reading this book even knowing what is in store for everyone. Reading Forever Ours makes me want to read the entire series all over again. It is just that good!
For me, this book started out slow. Claire's backstory had me really wanting to read this book, but at first, after she met Chris, her character annoyed me. I decided to stick it out and keep reading anyway, and I am so glad that I did! I finished this book in under 3 hours and had to get my hands on the rest of the series. This is book one in a 5 book series. If you like this genre, you will love this series. Forever Ours follows Claire, a young foster kid that has been passed from home to home since the age of 7, and Chris, a teenage boy who mom takes Claire in. The story behind the two is absolutely beautiful and this is a series that tugs at the heart. I am a 32 year old female and I couldn't read this series fast enough.
In Forever Ours, the author takes you on a journey through the lives of two young people. A story of love, sadness, and sacrifices. It is so beautifully written. You will become more connected to the characters with each page you read. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry. You’ll become part of the story. The characters will become real to you. And it will leave you wanting more. And that, for me, is when you know you are reading something amazing.
Such a beautiful story, which I highly recommend.
It's very common place live story, but it will grab you in it's turns and twists not letting you go till the end of the book. As this book is a series, it finishes with a wanting-more taste.
Chris and Claire's characters grow during the book. He wanting Claire and his dream be a rock star. She wanting to surpass a difficult foster kid childhood and becoming someone in life, goi my to college and making a life for herself at Chris side. She wants to support him , doesn't matter the sacrifice, to reach his dream. Isn't the price too much?
It's not a fluffy reading, and be aware that it will continue into other books of the series.
